Photographer Holds Photoshoot For 11 Babies With Down Syndrome And The Results Are Everything

Julie Wilson grew up in what many people would consider to be a normal family. They did special things on the holidays, took family vacations and had a very general upbringing. As is the case with any family, however, there was something underneath the surface that most people didn’t realize. They may have seen what was taking place but they didn’t know how it affected everyone in the family, including Julie.

The thing special about her family was her sister, Dina. She was born with down syndrome and because of the fact that she grew up with somebody with Down syndrome, she now uses her understanding of the condition to help others. This includes many of us who appreciate the beauty in her in the pictures she takes.

Julie is a talented photographer from New Jersey. Recently, she decided to take on a project that involves some very special people.

The series of photographs that Julie took for this project included children that were diagnosed with Down syndrome.

She was motivated on a very personal level. She wanted everyone in the world to know that these children may have a disability but they all have incredible and unique personalities.

She wanted everyone to know that just because they are diagnosed with down syndrome doesn’t mean that their families can’t live a happy life.

Down syndrome occurs when a person has an extra chromosome.

It can result in stunted mental and physical growth but it is not as severe of an issue as it used to be. There is a lot of research that surrounds it and children who are born with Down syndrome are often able to live a very fulfilling and happy life.

Julie’s sister passed away four years ago from heart failure. Dina may no longer be with Julie but she will remember her forever with this tribute.

In Julie’s words, Dina was “the best thing that could have happened to our family.”

Everyone in the world should know that these children have a lot to offer. Julie’s photographs portray them in an amazing way.
