They Told Her To Pull The Plug On Her Husband But 3 Years Later He Opened His Eyes And Said 2 Words

When we are in a loving relationship, we would do anything that we possibly could to help the other individual. When we get married, we say that we will be there for each other in sickness and in health, till death do us part.

The problem is, we can’t always account for everything that happens in life and sometimes there are some tragedies that take place. That is what happened to a young married couple in July 2011.

Danielle Davis received a phone call and learned that her husband, Matt, was in a motorcycle accident. He was in a coma and on life support and they didn’t hold out much hope.

It happened when Matt was merging on an interstate and an illegally parked vehicle was in the way. He hit the vehicle and broke multiple bones, along with lacerating organs and having a severe brain injury.

He was in bed and unconscious but Danielle never left his side. Doctors even broke the news to her that there was nothing they could do and she had to make the choice of whether to pull the plug or not.

Danielle said that it wasn’t even a difficult decision because she knew that God would get them through it. Eventually, Matt was moved to his mother-in-law’s home in North Carolina and they were working to make him better if at all possible.

It was three years later when Matt finally opened his eyes and looked at his wife, who was there by his side. He didn’t have much strength but he did manage to say that he was trying.

We don’t often hear about situations turning out like this but it is a beautiful example of what faith and a lot of love can do.
