We have become accustomed to seeing talented individuals, and regardless of whether they are on YouTube or television shows, such as America’s Got Talent, it is always enjoyable to see them.
On occasion, we see a level of talent that really takes us by surprise and that is what we saw in 10-year-old Alexa Brisbane. That young singer from Queensland stood on the stage of The Voice and sang an Alyssa Keys song, Girl on Fire.
As the words of the song filled the audience with determination and passion, you could really tell that she was singing from the heart. The audience was chanting along with her as she sang the song, and she was obviously feeling the power of the lyrics on a very personal level.
You could tell that the judges were surprised with the level of confidence shown by such a young girl. One judge claimed that she was walking on fire, and another cannot help but say how she was everything that a star should be.
Despite the fact that she knew she was doing well, Alexa kept her cool and you could tell that she was grateful for every word of the judges. Even when she told them her name and age, you could see that she had a special something about her.
Alexa admitted to feeling overwhelmed with the entire process, and it could be difficult to stand in front of the judges at that time. As you will see in the following video, however, she put her entire heart and soul into the music and it was well worth the ride.
