When most people think about Tammy Slaton, they think about her part in the television show with her sister, Amy Slaton-Halterman. That reality series, 1000-lb Sisters introduced us to her, but that wasn’t the end of her story.
Tammy has had her fair share of problems due to her size. She was even confined to a wheelchair because of her weight, but she didn’t let that hold her down indefinitely. Thanks to her significant weight loss, the 37-year-old can now stand and walk without any help but she still has to support breathing with an oxygen tube.
In order to help her fans keep up with the latest, she shares information on social media. Recently, one of the family friends, Haley Michelle shared a picture of the two sitting on the side of the pool with the caption: “Proud of you #tammyslatonweightloss.”
You can see her dipping her feet in the water and looking at her friend with the best smile on her face. The transformation she experienced is easy to see.
Many of her fans left comments to congratulate her on her weight loss and to give her the encouragement to keep going.
