Man Shows His Superpowers When He Sees A Hockey Puck Flying Towards A Young Boy’s Head

If you’ve never had an opportunity to go to an ice hockey game, it really is worth it. There’s a lot of action and sometimes, you may even have the chance to be a hero.

Andrew Podolak is somebody who was enjoying a game when he went to see the Cleveland Monsters play hockey. It only took a moment, however, for danger to strike and he managed to be a hero in the process.

4-year-old Nir was also sitting nearby and when a stray hockey puck started flying in their direction, Andrew acted without thinking. The little boy would’ve gotten hit by the hockey puck but Andrew had reached out and blocked it just in time.

This may have gone somewhat unnoticed, but the event was captured on video and later shared on social media. One of the spectators who saw it happen made the comment that the child was with his guardian angel.

One person who was especially grateful for the good deed is the little boy’s mom, Asia Davis. Asia went on TikTok to try to learn who the man was so that she could think him properly. She had a detailed description of the incident and it went viral. It took no time at all for him to be found.

Even the hockey team wanted to thank him and to have him a shout out for his quick reflexes. The Cleveland Monsters organization invited him to a game and they held a ceremonial puck drop. It was at that game that Asia and her son could thank Andrew personally.
