Malia Obama Carves Her Own Path Through Hollywood

When you are well-known, it can be difficult to live your life. Being in the public eye constantly can be difficult, but some people who spend their lives in the spotlight decide to move even further in that direction.

One person who knows this all too well is Melia Obama, the daughter of the former US President, Barack Obama. From the time she was young, she was in the spotlight and the media continues to be interested in her to this day.

Melia is now 25 years old and she is moving further toward her goal of becoming well-known in Hollywood. She was in her debut in the film, The Heart, and has decided to go with the stage name, Melia Ann.

This move helps her to have her own identity, which is important to her. She also is paying tribute to her grandmother, who died from ovarian cancer in 1995.

In her short film, The Heart, she breaks out of her shell. She both directed and wrote the film, which was about a man who was grieving the loss of his mother. She considers it to be an ‘odd little fable’ that smacks of forgiveness, loss, and regret.

This isn’t the first time that she has stepped over into the entertainment industry. She also worked on Swarm in the writer’s room. There was an episode titled ‘Girl, Bye’ that she was responsible for writing.

It isn’t all that uncommon to change a name or drop the last name when you become a celebrity. Angelina Jolie, Nicolas Cage, and others have done so in the past.

Melia is doing her best to carve a path of her own in Hollywood. So far, she has shown an incredible amount of talent and we look forward to seeing what she does next.
