Former First Lady Is Grieving The Loss Of A Beloved Family Member

The president is one of the most powerful men in the United States. He and his family hold a very special part in the country, and they are followed, long after they leave the White House.

A former First Lady of the United States is now grieving as she has lost a beloved family member. That family member died at the age of 86, and Michelle Obama went on social media to express the loss of her mother.

Michelle Obama, who is married to Barack Obama, the former president of the United States, shared the news of her mother’s passing. Marion Robinson, a member of the Obama family, died at the age of 86. She spoke about it on Twitter (X).

In the message, she described her mother as being a rock and a constant source of support. She said that Marian was unwavering in her presence, both for the immediate family of the entire household.

When Michelle described her mother in this way, she could not quite cover the depth of sorrow that she was feeling. She simply wrote: “We are heartbroken to share she passed away today.”

She also honored her mother’s life, reflecting on the wisdom that she left behind and some of her favorite sayings:

“Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
“Know what’s truly precious.”
“As a parent, you’re not raising babies — you’re raising little people.”
“Don’t worry about whether anybody else likes you. Come home. We’ll always like you here.”

The statement also made mention of how Marion was there during the family’s time in the White House. She helped them through their years in office and was there for the grandchildren especially.

We know this is a difficult time in the Obama family but we wish them all the best and hope they find peace.
