We often talk about the love that a mother has for her children. There is no doubt that it is one of the deepest types of love that we may ever experience in our lives. It starts out from the time that we are first born and in many cases, it happens even before we are born. A bond begins to form between us and it isn’t long before we are continuing to build that on for the rest of our lives. Certainly, there will be ups and downs along the way but for the most part, it’s a relationship that we will treasure. Although that is true, we also need to consider the love that a father has for his daughter, and that was described beautifully in the following scenario.
If you aren’t familiar with David Grohl, he is known as the King of dad rock and he was initiated into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame two times. There is no doubt that he is a rocker through and through and many people know him because of his ability to entertain us on stage. What you may not know about this rock ‘n’ roll superstar is the fact that he is also the father of a 10-year-old little girl. He takes that relationship very seriously, as you are about to see. It all started when he was on tour but he couldn’t help but head home for a father-daughter dance.
There are certain moments in our lives that just tend to define us as individuals. In many cases, it will involve our parents in some way or another. It seems as if this rocker also is defined in this way. At first, he was even going to cancel his concert in Australia to make sure that he made the dance.

What he decided to do was to leave the concert for a while to fly home and be with his daughter for the special occasion. It’s a move that is inspirational on more levels than most of us can even count. It is also something that makes us appreciate that rock ‘n’ roll star even more.
