Couple Converts Old Farm Silos Into A Wonderful Bed And Breakfast

Did you ever notice that there are some people who just seem to have a knack for being creative? They may take something that is considered to be fairly ordinary and before you know it, it is turned into something extraordinary. We may marvel at what they do but we can rarely ever duplicate it. That was the case for those who created something unique on Abbey Road Farm, a unique bed-and-breakfast found in Oregon’s wine country.

John and Judi Stewart were in the insurance business but when they started looking for something new to do with their lives, they settled on this farm. It is 82 acres of land and they had a lot of work to do. They didn’t tear everything down and start from scratch, however, they decided it would be best to repurpose some of the buildings that already existed on the property.

One of the key features of the property included three old farm silos that are now three of the guestrooms in their bed and breakfast.

The ranch house is also used for guests. It sleeps as many as six and has its own kitchen, living room and dining room.

Large gatherings can be hosted on the property as well. It typically includes up to 300 people but the farm can hold up to 1000 if necessary. There is a commercial kitchen available.

You will feel right at home on the farm. They provide every modern convenience, including comfortable furniture, televisions and ceiling fans.

The property itself is very charming but wait until you try the breakfast. The guests can’t say enough about the food and the uniqueness of everything that is available. If you ever make it to Oregon, then this place is well worth a visit.
