As a parent, all of us want to be proud of our children. It is a special day when we receive some type of kudos from others as to how fantastic our children are. We beam with pride, realizing that we have done a good job and that our children are going to turn out okay, despite the fact that we are imperfect from time to time. Of course, ask any parent and they will tell you that kudos are few and far between. You’re more likely to get a note sent home from the teacher, and it is one of those cringe worthy moments that parents tend to experience all too often.
What do you do if you get a note sent home from the teacher? More than likely, you will be upset with the child and try to teach them a lesson from it. At the same time, however, you may do a little bit of private laughing because you realize that it is something that you did when you were a child as well. You might even share the note with others on social media so that they can get a good chuckle out of it. Something else you can do is to look down through the following notes that were sent home by teachers. It’s sure to make you feel better, realizing that your child isn’t so bad after all.
