There are some people who sing and some people who dance but when they are able to do both masterfully, it really takes things to the next level. Although there are many examples of how this could work, I would like you to think about Michael Jackson for a moment. His music was something that really impressed people and they absolutely loved his songs. When you saw him dancing on music videos or on the stage, however, you could tell that it was something special as well. It’s the combination, the complete package, that really made the difference.
Perhaps that is how you feel about somebody such as Darci Lynne. Most people would look at this girl and call her a ventriloquist, and they would be correct in doing so. As she stands on the stage in 2017 on America’s Got Talent, you can tell that she really has a talent for ventriloquism. She stands there with her dummy beside her and you can hardly even see her lips moving. That would be enough to really make her a talented individual but when she starts singing with the ventriloquist dummy, she takes things to the next level and impresses everyone in attendance that day.
At 12 years old, you wouldn’t necessarily expect anyone to be a superstar in what they do. Admittedly, the audience that sees the shows of America’s Got Talent are quick to get on their feet when they see somebody performing masterfully. When she finished her performance, however, even the judges were on their feet and that includes Simon Cowell.
This young girl was so taken aback by what she was seeing in front of her after her performance that she actually started crying. It was touching to see such an emotional moment on her part.
