I don’t think there’s anyone alive who does not know Dolly Parton. She is the queen of country music and has some of the greatest country music hits of all time.
Despite the fact that she has a career that spans over 50 years, she is looking forward to the future with great anticipation. In fact, she even spoke out about her future plans and it took many people by surprise.
When speaking on the Greatest Hits Radio, she said that she hoped to ‘drop dead in the middle of a song on stage someday – hopefully one I’ve written.’ This doesn’t actually sound like a pleasant thing, but it just outlines her passion for the music she sings.
When you look at Dolly Parton, you need to see more than just a country music singer. She is a dreamer but even beyond that, she wants to see the dreams grow big and strong and become a reality.
She claims that she’s not one to sit around doing nothing, and that is the determination that has kept her going all of these years. Unlike many people who would sit back and enjoy the life that we built, she continues to push forward and break the mold one time after another.
This included a new album, RockStar, that ended up getting her inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. She wasn’t content just being part of the country music world, she wanted to carve out a place in the rock ‘n roll world and she did so by collaborating with many artists, including Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney, and Sting.
Along with her music, she also plans to have her own TV network in the future. This would give her an opportunity to show the world her vision and to do everything from showing her talent to providing her line of beauty and wigs.
Dolly Parton may be successful but she is also down to earth. We appreciate the fact that she is here and hope we see her around for many years to come.
