We tend to become familiar with the people that are on television and sometimes, we may even feel as if we know them personally. Such is the case with Duane Chapman.
For those of you who have ever watched the show by his name, Dog the Bounty Hunter, you know exactly who I’m talking about. He had a special flare that really made him popular on the show and that is why it lasted for eight seasons.
There is always been some controversy that surrounded Chapman, and this is now being called into question even more by half-sisters, Bonnie and Cecily
Those two are his daughters and they said that they weren’t even invited to the wedding when he got married to Francie Frane.
Their mother, and his former wife, had died when she was 51 years old in 2019. She had been diagnosed with throat cancer and eventually lost the battle.
When Dog married Francie two years later, they didn’t invite his daughters. Bonnie even went on social media to call her father out about it and revealed some personal information that she kept secret because she claimed she wanted to have a relationship with her dad.
They said that their dad cheated all of the time and even though their mother made efforts to make him a good man, he was constantly guilty of infidelity.
Bonnie also said that her father is homophobic and racist. She feels that she wasn’t invited to his wedding because he was mad that she continues to be involved with the show and he had been fired from the service.
She said he was fired for: “using racial and homophobic epithets toward my fellow cast members on the show, which is about social justice advocacy and protesting violence and racial bias by police. I have expressed time and time again my ever-growing disappointment in my father’s progression into his old racist ways.”
She said that her father also was homophobic and the fact that he would say horrible things about LGBTQ+ people and the community.
Dog and Francie feel that his daughters are being groomed by disgruntled former Associates who are trying to ruin his reputation and derail their wedding. One of their half-sisters, Lyssa Chapman also said that the girls are lying.
