The Dirty Dancing Dance Is The Most Iconic Of All Time

It’s amazing when you stop to think about everything in life that can have an influence on us. It could be even the smallest thing but if it gets stuck in our head or if it happens at the right time, we can think about it for many years to come. That just goes to show that it doesn’t always have to be a huge event or a life-changing moment. Sometimes, it’s the little things in life that really influence us and continue to do so for a lifetime.

One of the things that we may find influences us is a movie. We may have seen the movie when we were younger but if we see something that reminds us of it, almost every scene comes flooding back into our mind in great detail. Although there may be many different movies such as that, there are also some that seem to affect the masses. I think that one of the movies that belong near the top of the list, if not at the top of it for many people is Dirty Dancing.

It’s hard to believe that it has been over three decades since the Dirty Dancing movie was first shown at the movie theater. It was not expected to do well but it ended up being one of the most iconic movies of all time. Not only was the movie itself amazing, it had a rather interesting soundtrack that went along with it. It was the final dance, however, that really caught the attention of many people.

The storyline of the entire movie was interesting and perhaps even just a little bit corny. When the time for the final dance came, however, the scene was set for something special. The song was playing, Time of My Life, and Jennifer Gray stood up with Patrick Swayze to dance. The epic line, ‘nobody puts Baby in a corner’ has probably been spoken more times than most of us can count. This is a dance that has been copied so many times at weddings and other special events, but it is still amazing to watch it from the original movie. You can see it for yourself in the following video:
