When it comes to The View, it is all about controversy. When they have a visitor sitting in the hot seat, they sometimes try to get them to say or do something that will help boost their ratings and keep people interested.
In the video we have for you below, Joy Behar is interviewing Matthew McConaughey. She decides to go after some political information and to get him to say something that would be controversial, but he saw right through the issue.
McConaughey is known for handling sensitive topics very diplomatically. He doesn’t engage people in those conversations, because he knows that it does not end up respectful. He did it yet again with Joy Behar, and it shut her down hard.
