We sometimes talk about a child being a chip off the old block. What we are trying to say is that they remind us a lot of their parents or perhaps either their father or their mother. In reality, it has everything to do with genetics. When we have children, we pass our traits onto them through genetics. It may be in the way that they look, the way that they act, the way that they smile, or even some of the talents that they are born with. We see it in almost all families but in the case of John Travolta, we see it in a rather interesting way.
John Travolta had a good family life. He and his wife certainly did care for each other but they had a lot of tragedy along the way. One of their three children, their son, was autistic and he suffered from seizures. When he died, John Travolta admitted that it was one of the most difficult things he had ever gone through and he wasn’t even sure if he was going to make it through that difficult situation. His wife then passed away after suffering from cancer. It was another blow to him that was very difficult to manage.
Fortunately, he has his children that are still here to care for and to pull him back when he goes through any difficulty. His daughter, Ella, is now 20 years old and she is following in her father’s footsteps. Some of the movies she has already been involved in include The Poison Rose, and Old Dogs.
Ella admits that she has always loved singing and dancing and it’s almost as if she was born to perform. Although she is not able to look to her mother for advice, she does turn to her father when she has questions about the “family business.” We look forward to seeing more of her and what she is able to do.
