Did you know that Cameron Diaz recently had a baby? At 51 years of age, she and her husband, Benji Madden have been married for more than nine years and they had a little daughter four years ago.
When they had their daughter four years ago, they made sure to keep things as private as possible. They didn’t want her to be a public spectacle, and now they have done something similar with their second child together.
This is where the surprise comes in for many people. 51-year-old Cameron Diaz and her 45-year-old husband welcomed a second child into the world recently. They did announce the birth of their son on Instagram, letting people know that he was named Cardinal.
Most people were not only surprised with the birth, they were surprised with the fact that she was expecting a child in the first place.
Her husband wrote in the caption: “We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden.” He went on, “He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here!”
They did say that the baby was cute but they wouldn’t be posting any pictures due to privacy issues. They said that they are feeling ‘blessed and grateful’ and they send love from their family to ours.
It’s not unusual for this couple to remain behind the scenes. They were married in 2015, had a daughter in 2019 and now they have a son. Very little of this was announced and it came with no fanfare.
Regardless of whether they want things to be well known or not, we wish them the best with their growing family.
