Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have really made a splash when they got married recently. They also have started touring areas outside of the UK, and this was their first trip. In the beginning of July, they toured Ireland for 2 days and they had a surprise that neither of them was expecting. It came from Chloe Mullins, a 19-year-old girl who had been waiting for quite some time to meet them. She had something for them and they had no idea it was coming.
She was standing in a crowd, hoping to get the opportunity to say hello and shake their hands. She also was holding a framed sketch that she had drawn and it was going to be given as a gift to them. Chloe was really hoping that they would like it. When the Royals came near, they saw the sketch in her hands and they were visibly surprised with what they saw. When you see it for yourself, you will understand why.
“That’s very, very good,” Prince Harry told Chloe. “Did you draw that? It’s lovely.”
“And you’ve given me more hair,” he said, causing Markle to laugh out loud.
The sketch was offered to the couple and they accepted it graciously. In fact, they were quite taken with how she would offer them such a special gift.
“Can we have it, are you sure?” he asked.
There is no doubt that Chloe was feeling quite nice after they accepted the artwork. It was special that it would now be in Kensington Palace.
“Ya girls artwork going in Kensington Palace,” she wrote on social media.
“Delighted to have gotten to talk to them and have them keep my drawing they’re genuinely so nice!!!”
She admitted that she was still not over meeting them and that his remarks really made her feel great.
“Couldn’t ask for a better compliment than Meghan saying my drawing ‘looked like a photo’ and was ‘so special’,” she said.
