Most of us are accustomed to hearing talented people sing. We may hear it on a regular basis and sometimes, we might not even give it much thought. After all, we are constantly bombarded with talented people thanks to the television talent shows and the Internet. Sometimes we may forget that these individuals are truly bringing something unique to the table. Then again, when a performance like this comes along, it also brings you back to reality again.
These three little boys are dressed all in white when they take the stage and there is no doubt that you are in for something that is spectacular. Most of the audience that was watching this live had no idea of what they were about to witness. For their inspirational song, they chose You Raise Me Up, and emotions were at a very high level. This song has been around for about 15 years and, as many of us know, it is one of the most hauntingly beautiful songs in existence. These boys are about to do something wonderful with it.
The lyrics have a lot of emotion in them and that is why many people use it when they are saying goodbye to someone they love.
“When I am down, and, oh, my soul, so weary. When troubles come, and my heart burdened be. Then, I am still and wait here in the silence until you come and sit awhile with me. You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains. You raise me up to walk on stormy seas.”
These three boys had obviously prepared in advance and they were ready to leave a lasting impression on the audience.
When the boys come out on stage, they form a small triangle with their backs to each other. It is something that leaves the crowd breathless. The first boy began singing in a deep voice that is a surprise to many who are sitting there. The other boys join in and they sing so beautifully together, it’s hard not to get caught up in the song.
