Chris Klafford Makes The Judges, Audience, And Himself Cry With An Emotion-Filled Version Of ‘Imagine’

When it comes to music, you really don’t need to look very far to see the diversity that is available. This isn’t only true when it comes to the styles of music, it is also true in the individual songs. It may even make you wonder from time to time how many songs there can possibly be. According to some sources, there are some 97 million songs but this is probably only the number of songs that have been recorded and released. That doesn’t even count all of the songs that people write and never let anyone hear as well as the unlimited number of songs that have been written in the past.

When a song becomes popular, something rather interesting happens. It isn’t long before people start copying the song in some way or another. They often say that imitation is the greatest form of flattery so for somebody to imitate a song that you have written by covering it, you could really say that they are showing how much they appreciate what you did. I’m sure that you have heard many covers of music in the past, but the one that we have below in the video is perhaps one that has been copied more than any other. It is an old John Lennon song, Imagine, and when you hear it for yourself, you may just cry.

This performance took place on America’s Got Talent in 2019. The Swedish singer, Chris Klafford does more than just singing the words and playing the music, he brings out so much emotion into it that you can’t help but feel what he is feeling. This is perhaps the most touching version of Imagine that I have ever heard.

If there’s one thing that is interesting about America’s Got Talent, it’s the coveted ‘golden buzzer’. It is the ticket for the individual who is performing to skip all of the middle contests and end up right at the end to perform their final masterpiece. There have been plenty of complaints about this singer not getting the golden buzzer but rather, it is given to somebody with a story to tell. Although he didn’t get the buzzer, I think that we could all agree that he certainly deserved it. You judge for yourself by watching the following video:
