This Pull-Apart Christmas Tree Bread Is The Best Holiday Appetizer When You’re In A Hurry

Many of us find ourselves in a rather difficult situation when it comes to the holidays. We look forward to sharing them with friends and family but unfortunately, there are also some surprises that come along with it. Admittedly, some of those surprises are good but others can be rather stressful. Perhaps at the top of any stress list is the fact that a special gathering sometimes takes place in an impromptu way and we are responsible for making it happen.

When people call to say that they are coming over, do you panic or do you step up to the plate and prepare things in the best way possible? None of us really like it when we have to do something at the last minute but if you want to bring something to the party that is going to put smiles on faces, then this is a delicious option. It is known as ‘Christmas Tree Pull-Apart Bread’ and it is perhaps the best thing that you could make, regardless of whether you were making it quickly or not.

Most of us have had pull-apart bread before so we already realize that it is a fun and tasty treat. When we have a lot of guests sitting around the table, it’s always going to be an interesting option because people can just pull off how much they want. This bread goes along with holiday parties because it is shaped like a Christmas tree. It looks great when it is on the table but the cheesy bread is also topped with plenty of herbs and Parmesan cheese to make it taste just as good as it looks.

Perhaps the most enjoyable part about this recipe is the fact that it doesn’t require a lot of skill to put it together. You just buy some pizza dough at the store, a few mozzarella sticks and some grated Parmesan cheese to put it together with the eggs, melted butter and fresh herbs that you may have on hand.

At that point, it’s all about putting it together. The mozzarella sticks are cut into 1-inch pieces and a 2 inch square of dough will be wrapped around it to form a ball. You form the balls into the shape of the tree on a baking sheet and brush it with some egg wash. Bake at 450° for 15-20 minutes and then brush them with the mixture of herbs and spices. Serve with some marinara sauce on the side for dipping and you have a perfect treat.
