We have a unique image for you below and it is a puzzle that is causing quite a lot of debate online. The question is, as the liquid is poured into the top, which of the cups at the bottom is going to fill up first?
This is something that is going to take a little bit of thought on your part. Some people will be quick to give an answer but others are likely going to take some time and try to figure it out completely.
There are a number of things to consider in this picture and it isn’t always the easiest solution. Just keep in mind that there is an answer and it is a matter of logic to figure out which is going to fill up first.
Now that you have had a moment to look at it, do you have the solution in mind? I will share with you the answer below, but make sure that you have your answer before looking.
The path to cups 7, 5, 4, and 3 are all blocked. They will never fill up. The only cups that are open are 1 and 6.
As the liquid goes into the pipe, it will go straight down and settle at the elbow above cup number four. As the tube fills up, it will spill out and go down to fill up cup number six.
The answer is cup number 6.
