Paintings and drawings are pretty remarkable human accomplishments. While they may not be something as practical as a good bridge or boat, the artwork is still one of humankind’s shining examples of creativity. A person can create so many stories on a canvas or piece of paper without writing a single word; after all, they say a picture is worth a thousand! Some images really can fool the eye, with realism so powerful the images seem ready to jump right of the page. One such image is one of a lion that seems like he’s skipped lunch and is sizing you up.
The picture was made by artist René Melot. who titles his digital creation, “Lion Mouse.” You see, this lion his hiding a little secret — a mouse. Most folks never find it. Just keep in mind things are not always what they seem, and looking at things from a different perspective can sometimes reveal all that is hidden. See if you can find the mouse.
