When I was a kid, our school subscribed to a magazine called Highlights for Children. I did some digging and to my surprise and delight, the magazine is still in publication. I shouldn’t be surprised, however, because when something is that awesome, of course, it’s going to stick around. The Highlights magazine came every couple of months, I think, not every single month. Every edition had wonderful short stories and poems, but they also had something most kids can’t resist: problems and puzzles. I think they had little crosswords, and for sure they had mazes to work through, but my favorite was the hidden-object puzzles.
What they did for many of their puzzles was put up a busy image that had a lot going on. Then you would find the hidden objects in the image. They always showed up in surprising ways and were just a blast to complete. Another puzzle we could count on in every issue was the ones where there were two seemingly identical images that had a few differences. Our job was to find the differences. I also loved the puzzles that showed a grouping of things that at first glance, seemed to be identical. However, one item would be slightly different. That’s what we have below.
All of these images of chickens have a hidden bunny rabbit. Can you find them?
