Simon & Garfunkel Perform ‘The Sound of Silence’ In Iconic Concert In Central Park

There are many people who may have an influence in our life but musicians have the unique ability of influencing us from the time we are very young. As we get older, our love of music may continue to grow and that influence may grow along with it. After all, when was the last time you heard a song and you found that suddenly, your mood was completely different. You may not have felt like singing when the song first started playing but it wasn’t long after it started that you probably were singing along full voice. It’s an amazing thing to experience and we have the opportunity to experience it every single day.

Although the influence that music has over us may differ from one person to another, there are certain musical artists who just seem to have that ability in full measure. In fact, they may not even be performing any longer or they could be musicians from many years ago but when we hear their songs playing on the radio or if we download them to our device, they still can have an impact, even many years after they have stopped playing. One of the groups that often does this is Simon and Garfunkel. Even though they started playing many years ago and their music is from before when many people alive today were born, it is still very impactful.

In the video that you see below, you get to enjoy a classic song from Simon and Garfunkel, ‘the Sound of Silence’. It is from their live performance in Central Park and it is perhaps one of the most iconic concerts of all time. As you listen to them singing, you can tell that they are talented beyond measure.

Although Simon and Garfunkel had their bumps along the way, they still were able to influence an entire generation and they continue to have that influence down to this day. It doesn’t matter if you were in Central Park that day or not, you get to enjoy it in the following video:
