Many of the people that we consider talented may not exactly have the level of talent that we think at first. This is especially true when it comes to some people who entertain us with their voice. I’m talking about singers and the fact that certain types of technology can really alter a person’s voice and make it sound completely different than what you may hear on the radio. They are able to do this because they record the music in the studio and by the time it makes it to the radio, you never get to see any part of it. They might even lip-synch as they are performing in concert, which can really throw your trust off balance.
Although there are some people who are famous and really don’t belong in that position, there are also many singers who have an incredible amount of talent. One of those singers is Pink, and if you’ve ever had the opportunity to see her in concert, you realize that she truly delivers. In fact, one of the amazing things about Pink is the fact that she sometimes sounds even better in concert then she does from the studio. That becomes evident when you see her in the following video. She is singing in the studio, but she is performing live and doing it using nothing but an acoustic guitar to accompany her. It’s truly an amazing thing to see and hear.
The fact that some people get famous for singing and aren’t able to sing is nothing new. In fact, it has been happening for a long time and often, it has more to do with marketing and putting someone in the right position then the abilities that the person has. That obviously is not the case with Pink.
Although it is true that Pink has put a lot of work into becoming famous, she deserves every bit of fame that she has. As you listen to her singing live from the studio below, I’m sure you will agree with that.
