Ellen Invites Young Man Who Sounds Like Elvis to Sing ‘Blue Christmas’ While She Gets Up To Her Hilarious Antics

Elvis Presley is probably the most-unique music legend in history. He was more than just a musician; he was the face and a part of the force for change in a society that had long been very rigid and prohibitive. When Elvis started out and began to gyrate his hips, he caused a national uproar, as thousands of angry parents, religious leaders, law enforcement officers, and political leaders condemned his act. He was threatened with arrest and physical violence on several occasions, and for many years television producers refused to film his performances below the waist. However, he survived the controversy to emerge as the king of a musical art form that would transform the world — Rock & Roll.

However, another thing that makes Elvis so unique is that his persona spawned what may just be the biggest impersonation industry in the world. In 2002, there were more than 35,000 estimated Elvis impersonators working in the U.S alone! Perhaps the most famous Elvis Impersonator was the comedian Andy Kaufman, who is said to have absolutely worshipped the grown Elvis walked on.  In fact, he was so good, that the king was rumored to have had a collection of films featuring Kaufman impersonating him! In this video, we see Ellen Degeneres hosting a young man named David Thibault, who happens to have a singing voice that sounds a lot like Elvis.
