Music has an influence on our lives from the time that we are very young. Just watching a toddler that is barely able to walk when the music starts playing will show you that they start dancing naturally. Nobody needs to teach us to love music, it is something that is built into us in a wonderful way. Of course, the type of music that influences us when we are children is going to be different than what we may enjoy listening to regularly when we are adults. Every once in a while, however, we come to realize how nostalgic it is to listen to some of those old songs and bands that we may have loved when we were very young.
If you happen to be a child that grew up watching Sesame Street, then you realize that they have some fairly interesting songs that can be quite enjoyable. Much of the music that they perform is specifically geared toward children but there are a few songs that we may even enjoy as an adult, such as Kermit the frog singing the Rainbow Song. And more recently, there have been some musical artists that we really love as adults that are singing along with the Muppets and teaching a lesson for children. That is what you see in the video below, when Bruno Mars helps the Muppets to sing a song about not giving up.
When we are older, we may sometimes throw up our hands and give up when something doesn’t go right from the very start. It is even more so when we are children, but they don’t have the experience in life to know that they do have options available. Bruno Mars helps children to know about those options in this song.
Although it is true that this song is written for youngsters and performed by the Sesame Street game, it’s still enjoyable to watch. It’s a little bit of nostalgia that all of us can appreciate.
