Adele Gives Irish Musicians Opportunity Of a Lifetime Inviting Them Onstage To Perform At Her Concert

There’s no one quite like British singer and songwriter Adele. She’s an incredibly humble person, and it’s because she has humble roots. Abandoned by her father when she was only two years old, Adele was raised by a single mom. That didn’t slow either Adele or her mom down, though, because Adele was destined for super-stardom. When she was a little girl, she says she became obsessed with voices and began singing early in her life. At one point, she and her mother moved to Brighton, a town on England’s southern coast. At that time, more opportunities opened up for Adele. She began playing her guitar and singing with friends in London’s Brockwell Park, and those were her first performances. Adele has come a long way since those early days of obscurity.

By 2020, Adele has won 15 total Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, an Academy Award, and three Ivor Novello Awards. Even with all of her success, Adele remains as humble as she was in her early days of singing and performing. She also remembers what it’s like to be just starting out and craving an audience and the chance to be heard. At a recent concert, there were two anonymous fans in the audience who happened to be singers. Unbeknownst to them, Adele had a plan for them.

For her concert, she invited Gleen Murphy and Ronan Scolard up on stage to perform. See, she had seen their videos online of them singing a medley of her songs. Their music had gone viral after it was widely shared on social media. When she was performing that night at her concert, she invited the pair up on stage and allowed them to perform. After their performance, they received a standing ovation. You’ll notice in the video below that Adele even stood back and let them have the limelight.

They’re obviously not the most experienced performers, but it’s so big of her to let them have their evening in the sun. Watch this amazing video below.
