Esperance Luminesca Fuerzina may only be 36 years old but she was able to accomplish something that many others were unable to do. She has gotten her name in the Guinness World Records.
As a former U.S. Army service member, Fuerzina is familiar with taking things to the extreme. She did it, but in a different way as 99.8% of her body is now covered with tattoos.
Fuerzina is not only fond of getting tattoos, she also has implants beneath her skin, a split tongue, and many other modifications to her body. Despite the fact of going this far, she wants to continue going as she has not yet realized her goal.
In speaking with the Guinness World Records editors about her journey, she said that she started at the age of 21 with a tattoo on her thigh. 10 years later, she started a body art project and then had her tongue split. She added symbols to her lips, had ink on her gums and eyes, and when images alone were not sufficient, she would use body modifications in different ways.
The shape of her hands and skull were changed with implants. Despite looking different, Fuerzina does not feel as if she looks frightening. She is just trying to express herself artistically.
Some other areas that have been modified include her nipples, genital piercings, crimson teeth, tattoos on the soles of her feet, and cropped ears. Many of them were created by artists rather than her doing them on her own and she did this gradually.
She plans on going to college in the future along with experimenting with new artistic mediums. She would also like to be a human rights advocate, along with already working with groups that raise awareness of HIV.
