Woman Comes Under Fire For Saying ‘Chivalry Is Dead’

We live in a time where things are changing and some people don’t feel that they are changing for the better. One of the ways in which change is seen is in the way that the sexes treat each other.

This came to light in a rather interesting way when a woman posted a video of herself standing on a crowded subway. The video has since been deleted, but the debate it left behind is still raging on.

In the video, the woman is standing on a subway and the text on screen reads that “chivalry is in fact dead.” The text went on to read: “What happened to the days when men offered women their seats???”

After a moment, the video shows the inside of the carriage and the fact that there are several men sitting in their seats and not getting up to give the seat to her. It sparked a debate on chivalry that is still going on.

For one reason or another, the original video was removed from her TikTok channel but not before it was uploaded to a number of other social media channels.

Some of the people are arguing that it is what women have been fighting for all along. The equality that they are seeing is to be expected since many women were shouting for independence.

Another said that she should have been on time to find her own seat.

Someone else argued that some women wanted to nitpick and choose before men are expected to behave in a certain way. She then called out the person who made the video for filming strangers without their consent.

There were also many men who chimed in on the subject. They said that they would have offered their seat if the woman was elderly, disabled, or VERY pregnant. Otherwise, they would stand for their right to be equal.

I guess this is just a debate that is going to continue.
