Jealousy is a natural emotion people feel when they believe someone else is threatening their relationship. Siblings feel jealously toward each other growing up and even as adults if they believe their parents favor one over the other. But, the most severe form of jealously often lies between people in a romantic relationship. Every day we hear about stories involving a jealous husband or wife going into a violent rage and harming their partner and/or a person their partner’s cheating with. However, sometimes misunderstandings can lead to dangerous situations.
In Mexico, a woman was arrested after cutting her husband with a knife after she caught him looking at elicit photos of a young woman on his phone.
The photos were of an amateur quality, which led her to believe they were of a woman he was having an affair with and not from a dirty website.

However, it turned out that the woman she was so jealous of was someone she knew, or at least used to know, very well.
In Jajeme in Sonora, Mexico, police arrested a woman identified as “Lenora N,” after she caused non-life-threatening wounds to her husband using a knife.
Her husband, only identified as “Juan N,” had nude pictures of a young woman stored on his phone and looked at him when his wife attacked.
Thankfully, he managed to wrestle the knife away from his wife before she could cause further injury and managed to explain to her the true nature of the photos.
The pictures were of Lenora in her younger years back when the couple was still dating. They had taken the photos during a “hot and heavy” period in their relationship.
Lenora was younger and slimmer then, and he had them digitized so he could look at them on his phone.
His wife didn’t recognize her younger self and flew into a murderous rage.

Fortunately, police arrived just after neighbors called about sounds of screaming and a violent struggle taking place next door.
This story went viral on Reddit, with thousands of users chiming in to give their two cents about the couple’s domestic situation.
