When it comes to entertainers, there are so many different options that sometimes, we just can’t keep up with everything. Perhaps we enjoy watching singers perform and we may even take the time to go to a concert when we really appreciate their style. The same may also be true for somebody who dances or even a magician, as they can be quite talented as well. Every once in a while, however, we hear about a performer that does things just a little bit differently. That is what we see in Cher.
One type of performance that we may appreciate but we don’t often give it the credit it deserves is the theater. Broadway musicals and local theater can do much to help us appreciate all of the talent that is available. It is not only the Shakespearean classics that we enjoy, it is also some of the more recent classics that have become ingrained into our recent history. Some of these are taught in local schools and people may love watching them any opportunity they can. As is the case with performers, these classics really bring something unique to the table.
It’s hard to believe that Cher was popular way back in the 1970s. It seems like such a long time ago but then again, she was a superstar that worked her way into the hearts of millions of people. As it turns out, she was also quite an entertainer and she could sing, dance and act. It seems as if she had another talent that she doesn’t often show.
In the video clip below, you get to see Cher performing every part from West Side Story in a way that really shows off her talents. She moves from one person to another and you even get to see her on the set multiple times at the same time. Admittedly, the technology is not quite up to what it is today but you can really tell that she puts her entire heart into the scene.
