Anytime the president is on TV, people look very carefully at what is being said and what is being seen. This includes something that sits behind him in the Oval Office and viewers have something to say.
After Donald Trump went back to the White House a few weeks ago, he made some changes that were obvious. For example, he removed portraits of Joe Biden and added some personal photographs. That was to be expected. He also went with more neutral tones compared to what Joe Biden had in the area.
There is something behind him on the desk that seems to get the attention of many, a World Cup. Many people were wondering why he would have it and what it stands for, as some are saying that after 2022, the World Cup should be in Argentina.
People are commenting on why he would have the World Cup and the fact is, America has never won it.

In reality, the trophy has to be a replica. Trump may be good friends with FIFA president Gianni Infantino, but that doesn’t mean that he would have the real deal sitting in the Oval Office.
Perhaps he gave the replica as a gift to himself before America co-hosts the 2026 World Cup with Canada and Mexico. Considering how he is not really on good terms with those two neighboring countries at the moment it can make you wonder as well.
As of now, nobody knows where the relationship between the countries is going after Donald Trump initiated tariffs on Canadian and Mexican imports. The same is also true of imports from China, although the numbers were different.
Those other countries have imposed retaliatory tariffs on a number of American products, so we will have to see where things go from here.
