The new Netflix series has viewers jumping online to say it is one of the best series they have seen in a long time and people are talking about how hooked they are already. Fans keep posting about how good it feels to have a show they can binge again and some say this post apocalyptic style is exactly what they wanted.
The show only has six episodes and it already has a bunch of excited comments. One person said: “When we say cinema, this is what we are talking about.” Another fan said: “Binged it all in one day, it was very well written.”

The series picks up after the end of the original Walking Dead run and it brings back Rick Grimes and Michonne Grimes who have been kept apart by a powerful force while they try to find their way back to each other. The original series wrapped up after eleven seasons and it left a lot of things unanswered and it had people wondering what happened to both Rick and Michonne after they vanished in different seasons.
This follow up focuses on their reunion and shows how they work through everything that kept them apart for so long while they try to get home. The story brings in several new faces like Major General Beale and Warrant Officer Thorne along with more people tied to the CRM which plays a big role in this world.
Even though the fans are loving it, the series was promoted as a limited run so no one knows for sure if there will be more. In an interview with a news outlet, Scott M Gimple talked about what could happen next for Rick and Michonne.
He said: “I mean, the plan was to keep it limited. Not necessarily never to see those characters again, but to keep it limited. But I always say, you never know.”
He also said: “There is so many, I have been very careful to not say, Oh, that will never happen, because it does. So you know, there are possibilities. And there is possibilities of all sorts of strange iterations of shows with those characters and with other characters. So you know, I think it is entirely possible.”
