If you take the opportunity to see what is happening in the world around you, it has the ability to either inspire you or at times, to even depress you. Of course, it really depends upon where you are looking and where you focus your attention. If you tend to watch the news and see what is happening on a day-to-day basis, your outlook is not likely to be bright. If you take the same time to study the world around us and what is happening in nature, it can enhance your appreciation of the world where we live in ways that will inspire you.
All of us have the opportunity to see what is taking place near our home but it is also interesting when you travel and see something that you may never have seen before. Perhaps you may take a trip to visit the national parks or you may just take a vacation in your local area. In either case, there is likely to be something that you have never seen before or something that you can study in-depth that you may never have paid attention to in your life. Traveling to a different area may open up even more opportunities, such as traveling to a part of the world where you can see the aurora borealis.
When most people think about seeing the Aurora, they think about being in a cold part of the world. Although that may be true, the ‘Northern lights’ may also be seen from other areas as well. This includes space, and although it may look stunning when you see it on the ground, it is nothing compared to what happens when you see it shining from space.
In the video below, you have the opportunity to see the Aurora as it looks from the space station. An astronaut took the time to look out the window and to shoot the video so that everybody could appreciate what he was seeing. It just shows you that nature is something well worth considering and the more you look, the more you will discover.
