Toddler Spills Huge Slushee In Target, Witness Quickly Grabs Her Phone

If you have a child in your life, you realize that things can get tough every once in a while. That is especially true if the child is two years old and a little bit of a handful on top of it. Some of us would like to lock ourselves in our home and not go out until they are four but it is necessary to get out to the store every once in a while. So we do what any good parent does, we pack up our children in the minivan and hope that they don’t do anything to embarrass us.

When you take your child out into a public location, you’re really putting the situation in their hands. They may try to do their best to behave but sometimes, they are going to do something that makes a mess. If the mess is large enough, it can be frustrating and somewhat embarrassing, especially when you are in the middle of the store. When it happens in public, it just seems to be a situation that gets out of control quickly.

Kalynne Marie is the mother of a two-year-old child and she just witnessed something while sitting at Starbucks that she had to post on Facebook. It wasn’t what the child did necessarily but it was the father’s reaction to the entire situation. They were at a Starbucks in a Minnesota target when the entire thing went down. You can read about it here:

Not only did this father keep his cool, he taught his kid a lesson in the process. The child now knows that he isn’t stupid for making a mistake, he just needs to take responsibility. He even encouraged him to ask for help if needed.

Kalynne posted this on facebook. In fact, she was so impressed she took notes.

“As soon as the father started helping his son clean up, I opened the Notes app on my phone and wrote what he said word for word, because I was so inspired by how he was handling the situation,” she said.
