Gender has been a hot topic recently with many people celebrating their thoughts and feelings on social media. This is also a topic that continues to grow.
Many people who want to discuss their gender identity do so on social media platforms, including TikTok. Recently, one popular TikTok influencer has come out and announced that they are identifying as transgender.
Emily Skvarch posted a video on TikTok revealing how they identify, and it has caused many to come forward and praise the influencer. They said: “I figured it’s about time that I came out and talked about my gender identity. I am trigender, which means like a triangle. I have three genders: male, female, and non-binary.”
They then went on to explain the difference between being gender-fluid and trigender. They said: “I feel all three of these genders at the same time. All the time. It doesn’t ever shift or change, or I feel one gender more strongly than the other like gender-fluid tends to be.”

Emily has close to 600,000 followers on the platform. They said that others should: “recognize and accept that a lot of people don’t see non-binary as a third gender, they see it as something completely separate from the binary of male and female.
“But for me, it’s like a third gender. Or I guess you could call it a third identity.”
Emily went on to say that it was like a man, like a woman, and as neither ‘at the same time’. They also said they were ‘trans’.
