Lyn May was often referred to as ‘The Goddess of Love’ and she is a Chinese Mexican actress who starred in almost 100 films. She was at the top of her game but unfortunately, one mistake cost her in a large way.
Back in the 1990s, she had Botox and the procedure did not go well. Rather than leaving her more beautiful, it disfigured her face by making lumps.
She spoke about the incident, saying that she was given injections of water, baby oil, or cooking oil. In the end, it did not go well for her.
Her early life had challenges when she married an American sailor and then divorced him because of abuse. After moving to Acapulco, she became a dancer and then became popular in Mexican cinema.
When her second husband died of cancer in 2008, she admitted that she dug him up and slept beside him as she tried to process her grief.
She also claimed that she was pregnant at the age of 68, but it was nothing but a publicity stunt.
Obviously, Lyn May has been through her challenges but despite them all, she continues to be a very popular symbol in Mexican culture.
