We sometimes feel as if we get to know celebrities so closely that it’s as if they were a personal friend of ours. We see them in the movies and on TV, and we read about them online.
On occasion, however, somebody who was famous will change over the years and sometimes the change is so profound that people can’t even recognize them. That is what happened to this one actor who showed up on the red carpet in a wheelchair.
When they rolled this actor out onto the carpet in a wheelchair, journalists even had a hard time figuring out who it was. As it turns out, he was a famous star in many movies, including Home Alone and Titanic.
The actor’s name is Tim Curry and many people were not able to recognize him because he suffered from a stroke in 2012. He is now in a wheelchair and has never recovered fully from that medical emergency.
This doesn’t mean that Tim Curry has not been working. He still appears in different television shows and movies, but now he is busy with voice acting.
Rather than drifting away into the background, he decided to stay active so that he didn’t become a recluse. Even though he has not been active in new projects for quite some time, many consider him to be someone to emulate.
It’s important to continue to move forward, regardless of your condition or where you are in your life. That is how many feel about Tim Curry, and he is an inspiration on the most profound level.
