The Great-Grandchildren Of The Real-Life Von Trapp Children Gather Together To Sing ‘Edelweiss’

There are certain movies that have gone far beyond a smash hit. They become legendary and they continue to be popular for many decades after they first came out. That is how you would describe ‘The Sound of Music.’

The Sound of Music was a musical that captivated a large audience that spanned multiple generations. It followed the Von Trapp family, a real-life family, and the struggles they went through in WWII.

That was many years ago but we still remember the story and the songs that they sang in the movie. Now, descendants of the Von Trapp children are stepping up to show us that the talent of the family runs deep.

The Great-Grandchildren of the real-life Von Trapp children recently got together in Columbus, Ohio, for an impromptu performance. They sang the famous song, Edelweiss and it is a beautiful thing to see and hear.

The performance was said to be from the ‘goodness of their hearts’ and was uploaded to YouTube. The channel owner then went on to explain what happened on that fateful day.
