‘Tell Me Who I Am’ Sparks Intense Reactions With Netflix Viewers

There’s something that many of us enjoy doing, and that is spending time on the sofa over the weekend, binge-watching a show. Netflix always provides opportunities to do it, but sometimes, there are options that are too good to ignore.

One option that has come up recently from Netflix is a true crime documentary, and it tells a tale that you have to see for yourself. It’s about identity, painful revelations, loss, and you will find that you are binge-watching it multiple times.

Ever since the show was discovered by Netflix viewers, they have been singing its praises. One of them even says that it is the ‘most haunting documentary’ they’ve ever seen.

There are many other comments that are also well worth considering. Fans are calling it heartbreaking, interesting, and amazing.

It isn’t just Netflix fans who are singing its praises. Rotten Tomatoes also is giving it a 97% approval rating. It’s amazing when they are able to do something like that.

On rogerebert.com, Tomris Laffly said that the director has a lot of respect because he gives the show exactly what it deserves. Even The Guardian said that it was ‘slickly pieced together like a psychological thriller’.

That’s high praise indeed.

In the story, twin brothers, Alex and Marcus Lewis, are followed along as they go through a traumatic event. Alex is in a motorcycle accident at the age of 18 and loses his memory.

Through the series, he is trying to get his memory back, and he is relying on Marcus, his twin, to piece things together. There is something from their past that Marcus chooses to shield him from instead of telling him the truth.

In order to do so, he constructs a false past and feeds it to him bit by bit.

To give you a spoiler, so be cautious, Marcus does finally come clean toward the end. That is one of the most beautiful moments of the show, and it is one you will remember and carry with you.

If you’d like to see this for yourself, you can do so on Netflix, but watch the trailer first:
