For many years, bigger has always been better when it comes to our living space. In more recent years, however, more focus is being put on tiny homes.
One man in Sweden decided to make a tiny home a part of his life in 2020. He got divorced, moved to the city, and left behind his large home in the suburbs.
The man wanted to start fresh so he decided to simplify as much as possible. A loan was taken out to purchase a small studio house in the city and he planned on paying off the loan within about five years to move to a more spacious apartment.
After he moved into the small space, he started to question if you really needed a larger home. It wasn’t long before he realized that there was a lot of appeal to living in a small apartment.
Living simply, such as this, gave him a lot of freedom and he felt content with what he had. He had everything he needed to live a comfortable life, including a bedroom, living room, kitchen, and a place to work.
It took a little creativity to make it work, but he did a fantastic job of it. You can see it in these pictures, as he has everything from a workstation to a TV to a minibar.
Obviously, he wanted a place that was clean, neat, and organized. Everything that he needs is right here under a single roof.
Sometimes, you may find that less is more and that is what he discovered. Not only is he living a good life, he is inspiring others to do so.
