There are many times when people enjoy singing songs that were written and performed by others. They have the opportunity to make the songs unique and sometimes, they may take it somewhere that was never expected.
That is how many people felt once they heard Susan Boyle singing her rendition of You Raise Me up. Between her voice and her ability to perform, it was an outstanding version of the song that had her own, unique spin.
When you see Susan Boyle standing on the stage, you expect nothing but excellence. Fortunately, she was able to deliver on that day and the hosts of the show even sat in the audience to enjoy what was about to happen.
Perhaps you remember in 2009 when Susan Boyle stood up on Britain’s Got Talent and sang. Most people weren’t thinking much about her but once she started singing, it was as if our life would never be the same again.
Her voice is full of emotion but she has not always had an easy life. Perhaps she uses some of that emotion from her younger years to turn any song into something that is unbelievably beautiful.
Although she could have chosen any number of different songs, she was right to sing, You Raise Me Up. The words of the song really touch your heart and she performed it perfectly.
