Recently, they have added something else beautiful and it is a favorite among visitors. It is a bridge just outside of Da Nang and it is held up in the air with two giant stone hands.
The bridge is in the Ba Na Hills and at 1400 m above sea level, it certainly provides some beautiful views of the surrounding area. It is known as the Golden Bridge, and it lives up to its name. The walkway is gold colored and it is lined with purple chrysanthemums and curves its way around an elegant design for almost 150 m. It is a beautiful bridge to walk on but it is the sculpted hands that really take it over the top.
The bridge was designed by TA Landscape Architecture, and it appears as if the stones are carved by hands. In reality, they weren’t. The designer said: “We designed the skeleton of the hands and covered them with steel meshes. Then we finished with fiberglass and added the theming on it. The entire construction of the bridge took about a year.”
More and more people are discovering the beauty of Vietnam and coming to visit. This structure is only part of a $2 billion investment that is designed to increase the 1.5 million visitors to the area every year.
