Tattoos have become common and it seems that everyone has them these days. Some are there because they are considered beautiful and others are there for a specific reason.
One student who knows just how to use tattoos in a perfect way is 23-year-old D’Kodia Laine. This young woman from Australia is a communications student and she had a problem that she was hoping tattoos would fix.
You see, she had a problem for most of her life, she was always getting her left and right directions mixed up. This caused many problems and she wanted a way to fix it.
That is when D’Kodia decided to head down to Hunter & Fox Tattoo with a specific request. She asked the staff to ink her hand between the thumb and the wrist with an ‘L’ on her left hand and an ‘R’ on her right hand.
She said: “My friends would joke about how silly it looks having an adult make the L shape with your hands to differentiate.”
Now that she has those new tattoos in place, she no longer needs to make the L shape with her thumbs and index fingers to know which way to go. In addition, her boyfriend is a big fan because there could be some embarrassing issues from time to time before she had it done.
She first came up with the idea as it ‘started as a joke’ when she was on a scavenger hunt at a party. She drew the L and R on her hands and actually found it to be very useful.
In addition to being functional, she also loves the way they look. Even the tattoo artist, Lauren Winzer shared a picture on Instagram.
