Many people would be quick to admit that they have an addictive personality and they have to be careful that they don’t do things to the extreme. There is now a jobless mother, Marie Buchan who says that she’s addicted to having babies.
Marie is a single parent of eight children and people keep calling her out online for getting pregnant over and over again. At this point, she is having a difficult time feeding the little ones so she has to use food banks.
She talked about how her benefits were cut and that left her in a very difficult position. She’s also sharing how her children are no longer eligible for certain benefits because they have gotten older.
Marie is from Oak in Birmingham and the 39-year-old single mother said that she’s tired of dealing with the online haters and trolls. When they find out about her life story, they will often come up with strange names for her, and call her sleazy or trashy.
There are also those who are concerned about the welfare of the children and would like social services to step in and take care of the situation. She may have a lot of kids, but that doesn’t necessarily make her a great mother and she has a problem both educating and feeding all of those children.
Another thing that they call her is the welfare queen because she talks about how you can milk the system easily but she is also talking about how she is struggling. She wants more help because the kids are getting older but her income is still not where it needs to be.
This is just one of those situations that you have to shake your head and wonder how they are going to get through. I guess not everyone can be a super mom, but maybe we can aim a little higher than this.
