When you are a celebrity, it’s not out of the ordinary for people to troll you online. One person who understands this is Rossy de Palma.
Rossy de Palma has had a significant amount of fame over the years but many people have criticized her for her looks. She has been open about makeup and beauty and doesn’t care what people think, plus she has a dropdead beautiful daughter.
At first, Rossy was looked over because of her unusual looks but when a director saw her in person, he decided to make her a star. That was in 1986 when Spanish film director Pedro Almodóvar found her in a Madrid café.
At first, many people thought that she was ugly and strange. Those were the words that were used by her country’s top newspaper at the time. She does have a long nose and very distinctive features. Plus, her eyes don’t match.
After starring in the 2016 film, Julieta, she was in an advertisement for Mac Cosmetics in 2017. She even admitted that she loved makeup. From a young age, she experimented with it when she would take her mother’s lipstick and smell it. She would get together with friends to play with different makeup colors.
Some people may dismiss her because of her looks but she says: “I feel 25 inside. And who cares, anyway? I am healthy, so I have gratitude for that because that is the most important thing..”
She went on to say: “Perhaps I’m very pretty to some people and very ugly for others. But that’s their problem, not mine.”
Last year, she went on social media to pay tribute to her daughter on her birthday. She posted a number of pictures with them together and captioned the post: “Happy 24 My One & Only I Love You Infinite My Love Im So Proud Of You Daughter You Are My Best And Most Precious Gift.”
