Scrubs Fans Are Excited Now That A Reboot With The Original Cast Is ‘Definitely Happening’

When we love a television show, it is always disappointing when it eventually comes to an end. It doesn’t matter if it lasted five seasons or 20 seasons, it always seems as if you could get at least one more out of it.

Scrubs is a series that ran for nine seasons between 2001 and 2010. People absolutely loved the show and were disappointed when it ended some 14 years ago.

Now, the creator of Scrubs, Bill Lawrence, has revealed that the stars of that sitcom could reunite. He feels that it will happen within the next six months to a year because of the additional stories that can be told.

In speaking with the independent, he said that the stars of the show have been talking about a reunion. They “really started to entertain the idea about getting the band back together because we all feel like we do have stories to tell.”

He continued: “People in the medical community are heroes right now. They certainly aren’t doing it for the money! It’s been a crazy rough time, so I would not be surprised if we figure something out in the next six months to a year.”

Zach Braff was the main character of the show and he provided narration when daydreams took him to a different place. It is one of the reasons why the show became so popular. Along with some guest star appearances, such as Michael J Fox, you had the regulars:

Sarah Chalke (Elliot Reid), best friend Donald Faison (Chris Turk), Judy Reyes (Chris’s wife Carla Espinosa), John McGinley (Perry Cox), Ken Jenkins (Bob Kelso) and Christa Miller (Perry’s ex-wife Jordan Sullivan).

The public in general loved this series and even critics found it difficult to be too critical of it. 17 Emmy nominations were attributed to the show and they won two of them.

We might not see a full season of Scrubs, but it could be a movie or something that they shoot in a few months. Whatever it is, we’ll take it!
