There are certain things that seem to appear in nature over and over again. One of those is the Phi ratio, 1.618. It seems as if this is everywhere in the world around us and it may just be the secret to the most beautiful faces in the world.
Dr. De Silva took a look at some of the most famous faces of the world and mapped them out. Out of all of them that he looked into, Amber Heard was at the top of the list.
He said that her “eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and 12 critical marker points were evaluated and determined to be 91.85 percent of the Greek ratio of Phi, which is 1.618.”
Dr. Julian De Silva is someone else who weighed in on the situation. She runs the Center for Advanced Facial Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery in London. After Amber Heard was Kim Kardashian, then Kate Moss, and then down to others, such as Kendall Jenner.
According to Da Silva: “The Phi ratio of 1.618 has long been thought to hold the secret for beauty, but now with the computer mapping we can calculate how it applies to real women. After we had created the software and the algorithms for the key marker points on the face I thought it would be a good idea to test the system on some of the most beautiful women in the world and see if we could prove with geometry and science exactly what it is that makes a beautiful face. The results were startling and showed several famous actresses and models have facial features that come close to the ancient Greek principles for physical perfection.”
They went on to say that when looking for the ideal nose, looking for a ratio of 1.618 is a great place to start. You would measure the length of your nose beginning in the middle of the eyebrows at the widest point. Divide that by how broad your nose is measured at the widest point.
There were some notable celebrities, including Marilyn Monroe, who only scored 0.1% lower than Amber Heard.
It is also important to measure the spacing of the eyes. This is the distance from one eye to the other divided by the length of the eye. It should equal 1.618 if everything is perfect.
Interestingly, Marilyn Monroe also made this list with 95.8%. Amber Heard did not make the top five.
In order to calculate the perfect lip size, measuring the surface of the lower lip should give you a ratio of 1.618 times the top lip surface.
Once again, Marilyn Monroe came in on the top five. She was number two with 95.7%.
In other words, Amber Heard is at the top of the list today about she doesn’t quite match up against Marilyn Monroe.
